Learn more about our MDIO's five strategic priorities for the first year of operations
The beginning of the 2020-21 Rotary year also marks the official launch of Rotaract Canada MDIO. In consultation with our member districts and with extensive feedback from their district Rotaract representatives, we designed five strategic priorities as the basis of our Strategic Plan for 2020-12. These priorities will guide us in conducting our MDIO activities and help open opportunities to grow and support Rotaract in our region.
PRIORITY ONE
DEVELOP RESOURCES FOR THRIVING ROTARACT CLUBS AND DISTRICTS
PRIORITY TWO
BUILD AND MAINTAIN CONNECTIONS
PRIORITY THREE
INCREASE ROTARACT VISIBILITY AND AWARENESS
PRIORITY FOUR
GROW ROTARACT ACROSS OUR REGION
PRIORITY FIVE
ENGAGE WITH MEMBERSHIP ON ROTARY INTERNATIONAL POLICY
The intent of the Strategic Plan is to provide the our organization with direction on the outcomes the districts expect from the MDIO, not only pointing us in the right direction, but also holding Rotaract Canada accountable to our main stakeholders. A new iteration of the strategic plan is created every new Rotary year by the executive office in consultation with the membership. Based on the priorities identified, each cabinet secretary designs their own action plans for their office, bringing the strategic plan into reality.
We strongly encourage Rotaract clubs and districts to create their own strategic plan, engaging their members to achieve the projects and goals they care about. Rotaract Canada is here to support clubs and member districts with guidance and resources in their strategic planning every step of the way.
